JDCarbon compared to Titanium
JDCarbon products are new to the RC racing scene, so we'd like to help you make an informed purchase by comparing our products to titanium alternatives.
JDCarbon turnbuckles are significantly lighter, as you can see in the graph below:
JDCarbon turnbuckles are stiffer. This is important when you're going fast over rough terrain - your wheels are getting beat into the ground and your turnbuckles must stay straight to keep them pointing where you want them. If the turnbuckles flex, you lose control. If you're like most racers, you've invested in digital servos to increase control of your RC. Don't let a flexing turnbuckle get in your way.
This graph shows deflection (how far the turnbuckle is flexing) while suspended horizontally from one tip, with a 10 lb weight hanging from the other tip. The stock turnbuckle snapped under the 10 lb load and was not able to be measured.
