Our Carbon Fiber A-Arm Pins are really strong. That's the owner of JDCarbon, John Delisle, hanging on a 60lbs punching bag. John weighs 175lbs so that's about 235lbs hanging from one JDCarbon Carbon Fiber A-Arm Pin.
Here's a video demonstrating their ability to take a beating. A Savage a-arm is mounted in a vise, and a pin connects a second a-arm to the first. It's then beat with an 8lb sledge hammer, and survives just fine. VIDEO HERE
Here's our pin-testing machine, using it we can compare the wear characteristics of two pins. In this video, we a have JDCarbon carbon fiber pin and a Lunsford titanium pin.
After over 11 days running on the machine, the results are very positive. The pins look almost identical. Both have polished areas where the a-arms rub. Neither pin has any real wear. The total up-down cycles on the pins is about 1,140,480. The polishing can be seen in the picture of the pins below.
