Set Screw Mod

Carbon fiber pins and e-clips don't mix, and many people have requested carbon fiber pins to replace their e-clip retained pins.

We've come up with a solution - simply drill a small hole in your a-arm and insert a set screw. In the future, we will include the set screws with pins which require this mod. For now, we're recommending that you only try this if you're pretty handy and have some set-screws.

If for some reason you decide to go back to metal pins, the set screw mod will actually help to retain the pin in case you ever lose an e-clip. It seems this is an old trick used by savvy racers, and that's where we got the idea.

If you use metal a-arms, you can still easily use this mod by either drilling and threading the hole, or by putting the set screw on the pin mounting blocks (the stationary part of the car/truck which holds the pin).

Coming soon - a step-by-step guide with pictures on how to perform the set screw mod. For now, lets just say it's a simple mod, just drill a hole and screw in the set screw.
